Cultural Event

On Thursday night, we had a concert at the Ev. Kirche (Prptestamt Church) sponsored by des Landesjugenchores Rheinland-Pfalz. The Chorleiter was Dr. Paul Head from the University of Delaware where he is head of the University Chorale. The Choir was fantastic singing a number of classical songs including two American songs: “Deep River” and “Joshua fit the battle of Jericho”. The oldest of the singers were about 17 years of age. Amazing how Dr. Head molded these young people into such a great Chor. I met him afterward. He lives near Philadelphia and will be taking a Sabattical this year and intends to come back to this area. We have lots of culture events in our small village, all arranged for by Hermann Frech.

It always takes a special person, doesn't it. We are all special in our own way, we just need to listen to our calling.
