E-book authors have reported that their royalty statements from the so-called “big six” publishers, including Hachette, HaperCollins, Macmillan, Penguin, Simon and Schuster and Random House sometimes contain inaccuracies, including under-reporting of e-book sales and earned royalties. Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro, LLP, a law firm based in Seattle, is investigating these claims. You can learn more about the investigation at hbsslaw.com/e-bookroyalties.
