Yes the UK owes those banks loads has done for years.
Just goes to show that you cannot trust the financial institutions of the world.

There is an important message in that Video.
America is on the verge of bankruptcy. Those who caused our financial crisis are sitting smug waiting for Obama to get the blame. The rich and powerful will attempt to set things right, and by doing so, have even more power, if we allow that to happen.
We once had our currency backed by a gold standard. Nixon did away with that and now our money has no backing. Only a strong economy can give it value.

The video makes one wonder about the Kennedy assassination. Was it caused from within?

The next election may be one of the most important yet. Everyone must vote. Power must be returned to the people. Accountability. We need controls on the free-wheeling financial institutions for the well-being of our country.

Take care. If your assets are all based on paper, you may be in big trouble. Hard assets are the best bet for long-term security.

Our paper money is worth very little and may soon become worthless. We are deep in debt to foreign countries. What happens if they decide to foreclose?
