We're going to China in a couple weeks and I had asked for gift suggestions for when we have dinner at a Chinese general's house. This is what I ended up buying. A coin proof set. They glitter and shine more in person. Smile

DK gave me the coin idea in the first place, and when I asked a Chinese friend for gift ideas, she immediately said "coins." So coins it was. Smile There sure were a lot of choices. I was all about the packaging and wanted something with a definite American theme. And not made in China, lol.

Yes, coins are a good idea.

Another idea is postage stamps. People love to collect them. Rare or unusual stamps are valued.
