I only hope alot of people can see it. I can't. It is unbelievable to me how many old-timers have been banned while the most mean-spirited persist.

Just received notification from the Caringbridge site. Carol has passed away.

Heartbreaking. Her beautiful spirit shined through her words. Those who knew her as family and friend are fortunate though their loss is great at this moment. My kindest condolences to those on this board who have met her and to her many friends and family.

I will miss Carol, and have missed her absence from the board for a long time. But she is on to a better place. As they say.

As Tom wrote, "It's over." That includes her suffering. Let's focus, if we can, on the caring soul who accepted each of us and always saw our best. My heart goes out to Tom and her family and close friends. I am grateful for the opportunity of just sharing messages with her. Those of you here who met her personally know what a great gift that was. She will always be a part of this board.

Just got the message from Tom, Carol passed away, I'm
very sad, crying thinking of her , she was a very nice
caring person, I will miss her, Tom and his family are in
my prayers........

I hated reading those words, "It's over" today. I'm so saddened by this news.

I posted on the PA site in the private section and I'm surprised to only see two other responses besides mine and Betty's. There are many others there who know her, and I'm hoping that they will see my latest post of her passing and respond.

I know it sounds weird, but I feel Carol's presence with me today. It's a warm and beautiful sun shiny day here, and I sold a "Forever Travels" and "Forever Friends" book to an ex-school teacher who has just begun an editing business.

Carol was such a special person and will remain in my heart forever.

My thoughts are with her husband, daughter, and family.

And you guys ... just make me want to cry.

All of your expressions of love are just beautiful.

Alice, Ann just posted on the PA site, but none of the people who knew Carol over the years that I know are still on there have posted. And no one has posted a new thread since I posted it on the Friends and Family thread. Strange.

I feel the same way. Here is much better than there.


They told me I could never come back. I said, "Good, I don't want to anyway
I guess that was pleasing to both of us.

Does Mel still have a forum?

I thought maybe it would be a good idea to leave the old PAMB and the banning frequency to a different thread, so the Carol threads can stay focused on her.
