| Hi Joe,
I'm going to try your recipe this afternoon. I'll let you know how they turn out. I will use sultanas instead of chocolate chips (my husband can't eat chocolate). |

| Nestle Toll House cookies are good enough for me, lol. I had to google "sultanas." All I found was schooner and seedless white grape. ? |

| Looks great, but they're RAISEN cookies, not chocolate chip! And when you make those, you have to include oatmeal... |

| I used Joe's recipe but not the method. The measurements I used were:
4oz flour 1/4 tspn baking powder 2oz brown sugar (approx) 1oz white sugar (approx) 1 egg 3oz butter handful of sultanas milk to mix
Method
1. Put all dry ingredients into a bowl (flour, sugar, baking powder), add butter, egg and milk. Whisk all the ingredients with electric mixer to a soft, creamy mix,
2. Put sultanas into a bowl, pour over boiling water. Place in microwave for 20 seconds to plump up sultanas. Drain. Add to mix.
3. Spoon onto baking sheet leaving room for cookies to spread.
4. Bake at 300° F for approximately 17 mins.
Makes 17 cookies. |

| You can use the measurements in the chocolate chip recipe, Joe. I halved the measurements (4 ounces is a small teacup), so 2 1/2 cups will make more than twice as many cookies). British flour is softer than American flour, so cookies made from American flour will look slightly different to those in the photograph. |
