THE NATIONAL TEA PARTY

I believe The National Tea Party will force politicians
wether they are democrat or republican to see the
light, the people are sick and tired of all the pork barrel
all the spending and the country so far is in 12 Trillion
dollar debt. I always believed in " We The People, For The
People And By The People." The politicians don't get it, we
tell them what to do, they don't tell us what to do. I do
believe there will be a third party, the politicians are running
scared and so far 18 democrats are retiring and 15 republicans,
good maybe we can get politicians in who'll listen to the people
and stop screwing with the tax payers money, enough is enough.

The rumor around Washington is that
there's going to be chaos and mass
demonstrations during the November
elections, good, maybe the politicians
will wake up and see how their spending
the public's money, maybe they should be
thrown out of office..

I don't know, Joe. It seems to me that it could split the Republican Party. It may end up helping the Democrats.

Of coure you heard that. Very predictable.

Builder, Tom Tancredo, a Colorado congressman, is a Tea Party supporter. Since he's famous for his outspoken views about illegal immigration, many (well, actually, mostly La Raza) call him racist, and anyone who thinks similarly is a "nationalist" or "xenophobic." Or both.

Of course, it doesn't stop them from attending Latino Pride parades and such. "Racist" only applies to white people.

The other day I was trying to trace back and find out when illegal immigrants became a "race".

What's really hilarious is getting into with the "there is no such thing as 'race' because it has no scientific basis or DNA tag for, yada yada" types, then dropping in, "well, if there is no such thing as race, I guess there's no such thing as racists?"

You see any racism here?

My friend that lives in U.S told me about them. But it does not concern me as I live in the U.K. Immigration needs to be controlled here also.

I can kind of see why Tea Parties wouldn't be as fashionable in the UK

Joining together for a cup of tea sounds British. Perhaps a tea party is not a bad idea. For some, Irish tea would be preferable.

As for racism, I subscribe to the human race. Some are trying to eliminate that by destroying the environment and ready to use a necular weapon to solve problems - permanently.

On the other hand, LC, if everyone in that picture was NOT white, nobody would dare suggest there was any racism involved.

The caterpillar is purple. Of course he's also an obvious stoner, so...

When a country is powerful enough such as North Korea, then it could be a natural step to own their own nuclear weapons. Not sure, if they have the intention to solve problems by using them though.

What I want to hear from the tea party is compassion, is caring for others' health, for those who are poor through no fault of their own. All I hear is a group of people wanting as much as they can for themselves.

I say we have to stop the politicians from
running amok with the tax payers money, spending
billions on bailing out banks and car companies, in
the 1930's none of the banks were bailed out. Yes
I agree we need a health insurance but not the ones
based on socialist europe or canada , I'm sure we can
come up with a better plan. The politicians seem to
have the attitude we know better, I don't think so,
they aren't listening to the public and people are
getting mad, their scared to death of their future and
their children's future, we are a Republic, a democracy
one for all and all for one......

My healthcare plan is based on "socialist" europe. It is the best program I have ever had. If we can drop the labels and look at plans that work, you may not have to re-invent the wheel.
