| Poor Tiger, wants to be in our faces every day with his endorsements for Buick, Gatorade, Nike, and anything else that will pay him millions , but when he's out banging his gf and banging into trees, he wants everyone to "leave him alone." Oh well. |

| I suppose when one becomes rich and famous they are expected to become puritans. Having a Priest in the Whitehouse wouldn't guarantee anything either given their record of improprieties. People want to hear dirt about another person and that makes it newsworthy.
Somewhere is a well-read book it says: "He who is without sin, cast the first stone." |

| Oh, don't confuse my amusement with concern. I don't care who or what he bangs/bangs into. He can buy all the gfs and cars he wants, it helps the economy. Just spare me the faux outrage about privacy violations and "busybody" reporters. |

| It would be okay with me if we had half-decent folks as celebrities.
My husband was a corporate executive where he'd have been fired for messing around.
We put up with far too much nowadays.
There are many perfectly decent folks unemployed and having immoral folks making huge salaries and bonuses is a bit much. |

| How a person spends their intimate life is of no interest to me unless the person totally lacks discretion. The old "discretion is nine points of valor" applies here. The human species varies in its concepts of what's moral for me versus what's moral for someone else. I truly believe in all the "judge not lest ye be judged" and "he who lacks guilt throw the first stone" (badly quoted I am certain.) I do believe in protecting the weak and the innocent such as laws attempt. I have seen many judgmental people take a fall themselves. We walk this earth but once that I know of; each of us must find our own path and our own conscience that prepares us for our date with eternity. That's one date certain for all of us. |

| I am a very judgemental person. I judge whether to trust someone or not. I judge what to eat or not eat. I judge when to get up, what to do with my time etc., I like Tiger Woods , but not his womaniziing. He does not like it himself. I am far from perfect, however if I break my marriage vow, I should expect to be judged. I think Society needs some standards of common decency. |

| Is it possible celebrities feel above the consequences of behavior although it turns out just the opposite? Not being a celebrity, I never thought negative immoral actions would be isolated and not hurt a whole lot of others if I chose wrong. Temptation, society, and even media often promotes going where one's heart wants to take one moral or immoral. At those times consequences seem to be forgotten.

Tiger Wood is now eating my dust though. |

Carol We shy away from consequences now. Forgive everyone of everything. It isn't working real well. In Seattle a forgiven man just shot and killed four police officers. He probably ate his spinach and behaved well in jail. Too bad he did not stay in jail. |

| Oh dear the curse of perfection strikes again. Dates with eternity, common decency and half decent folk.
First are half decent folk half decent because they are half indecent? Or are they half naked hence half decent?
Is common decency too common for the likes of the Queen?
Does eternity often go out on dates and where do you take eternity? |

| Am I the only one here who thinks the media is putting their noses in where they don't belong? That these people have a right to some privacy?

| I think they have a right to privacy. When a freak accident happens like this, in the absence of a reasonable explanation people have the rght to surmise.
Now that we have been told that he has transgressed, folks can overlook it or not.
I am glad he is not my husband. It is not the medias business. |
