Black Rose Writing is currently open to new submissions and preparing for a growth in books printed, sales, and publicity.

Hey Marie-

A portion of our contract is negotiable and can be suited for each author and their needs/requests. A few points are:

Our royalties begin at 10% up to 15%.
Our contract term averages 3 years.
We require no money from the author... ever.


Promotion end:

We distribute press releases to all of our connected affiliates (newspaper, magazines, reviewers, etc...). We list the author's new release in our newsletter, which reaches a vast amount of readers via friends and networking. We also carry our authors' books to our publishing/promotional booths for display, selling copies in person and speaking on behalf of our authors' books. We send out a discretionary-based amount of review copies to potential hits from reviewers to libraries. We promote on our website and create SEO (search engine optimization) cards for easy search and find on the web. We give our authors' guidance and assist them with following-up their leads by adding relevance as a publishing house supporting its authors.



We are currently open to all fiction genres and non-fiction true crime, autobiography. No poetry books.

We are not on fictionwise at this juncture. We do not have any e-books, but we have considered this option and may do so on an author-to-author basis.
