Dave is out playing golf with Dan.
Dan also got him some sort of a special golf club.

I sent hm a card and the greeting and the signature will take him back a few years.

We are both non -tradtional sorts, so we eschewed the words Dear, Love and Sweetie Pie.

We invented our own I called him Horrid and he called me Horrid, Horrid.
My mother-in-law did not like it, we did.

That's downright horrid.

OK I am a DAD.
I admit it.
No I have not been away playing golf and I do not go by the name Horrid. I have been out buying a joint of pork for my daughter and Grandaughter. Today also I have been family chaufer,child minder and entertainer.
But thank you for thinking of us DADS.
It's a dirty job and somebody has got to do it.

My Dad is dead that is true,
He left though much was still to do.
I never had the chance to say
Just thanks before he went away.
Now I hope to make him proud
if he's watching from some cloud.
I'll try to be as good a dad
as the special one I had.
I hope when people look at me
it's my Dads example that they see.
I'll pass on down the family line
a glimpse of fatherhood Divine
