Someone had created this page on Wikipedia and it appears to be up for deletion:

I'm actually curious as to who created the article so soon. Was it anybody from this forum I wonder? I was hoping it could have waited until more reliable sources became available.

I did it, but have no idea if it worked or not.

Editing Wikipedia is really a piece of cake. You go to the discussion page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Ahad%27s_Constant

Click on the tab where it says "Edit this page" at the top. Then right at the bottom, below the last person's comment on a new line, simply type in *'''Keep''': (followed by your comment/reasons)

Then just click on the tab "Save page", and you're all set.

I went to the site and added my "Keep," but I didn't sign in. Is that necessary? Do I need to open an account?

It's not really necessary to log in or register unless you already have an account there. Anyone can go in and add their say.

I see that my post now looks like the others. And the "Keeps" have caught up with the "Deletes".

I may sound stupid but I don't know how to vote on Wiki. It is one site, amongst many, that needs to be made more user friendly.

Keep this article. The best I can tell the ones who want it deleted are those without the background or education to formulate a theory of their own. Ahad must be given credit for the intelligent work he has done. Harpe

I don't buy that "this is not about the number of votes, but about the reasons". The last AFD they had on me (where Shelagh was present) was decided in the end on "numerical consensus" of votes, meaning there were fewer "keeps" balanced against a greater number of "deletes".

So the aim should be to have more keeps and fewer deletes in this debate.
