Just got through reading a refreshing book, " Peas, Pills & Parkinson,"
by Alice Crooker. She takes you on a journey of a life story that at times
will make you sad and yes smile. I loved reading about her parents
who were quirky in their ways, especially about food. I felt sad about
Alice's brother Vic, who was in the Vietnam war and became mentally
unstable and Alice's great love for him and her great efforts in trying to
help him. Her trials and tribulations with pancreas, brain surgery and
Parkinsons disease, show's how she fought great battles and still have
a great sense of humor. Alice Crooker's style of writing and wit makes
this book a great read. I recommend it highly, I give her five 5 *****
stars for a book well written.

has written a book with great charm and wit.

This is a must get for me Alice I know my whole family will read it.

I thoroughly enjoyed Alice's book. It was true Alice and very witty. Even the sad parts were told with her wonderful sense of humor. Loved it! Everyone should read it.

a book everyone should read and pass on to
others...It's a great story of courage and yes
