| I remember when he was asked to appear for the filming. His contribution was indeed significant. |

| I remember it, too, Abe. It's a British production (History Channel) and involved a four hour journey for Dick to the recording studio. He was glad to be home! I don't think Dick was very well for several years before he died. |

| Agree, Shelagh. I did enjoy his posts about his visits to the Doctor. He made light of his health and always had something amusing to say. He also found amusement in making jokes about Jackie. He was one of a kind. |

| I recall the production also. You're right Abe, Dick was one of a kind.
I feel honored to have known him.

| He was mentor and advisor for many of us, as far back as the PAMB. Always ready to help us as writers and as friends, always positive , upbeat, and open-minded, he was irreplaceable.

| Truly, he is missed. He was rational. He was experienced. He was helpful. I loved his stories, many of which I read while we were with the PAMB. I wonder if any other little groups of people continued beyond that beginning. I will always be glad for the connections made through the PAMB that have continued and I miss those who have traveled a journey beyond our knowledge. |

| I loved and still do love Dick. I loved everything about him. Do any of your remember the hamsters? Sophie was the last, I think. This year, my grands are getting a habitrail and 2 hamsters. I hope Dick is looking in and smiling. Love, Betty |

| I remember the hamsters. The gifts we receive from the paths we cross even when they go in new directions. |
