Why Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 Disappearance Frightens Us

With all the electronics in place: Satellites, groung to air and air to ground, it seems to me that someone or some entity is deliberately interfering or jamming signals. Sure would make a good fiction story. The one person who could make that happen is our own D.J. Stephens. He is a master at intrigue and suspense. He is also knowledgeable about the Asian region.

For Sci-Fi people, airliners going into a time-warp or being beamed to another planet would make a good story. In the space realm, I think that Ahad would do a fine job. His book: "First Ark To Alpha Centauri" is evidence of that.

I think in this day and age when nothing is private and communication is world wide the very fact that two airplanes could disappear is unbelievable.

Debris has been spotted in the Java sea in the area where the plane could have gone down. Until the debris is extracted they can't determine if it is from the aircraft since there is so much debris already floating in the oceans. Weather is hampering these efforts.

Debris from the plane was spotted about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the aircraft's last known location over the Java Sea, off the coast of Indonesia's Central Kalimantan province on Borneo.

Two bodies were spotted as well, Indonesian navy official Manahan Simorangkir told CNN. The body of a woman was recovered, but large waves have prevented crews from getting to the second body, Simorangkir said.

Further searching found floating objects believed to be the bodies of passengers, and then what appeared to be an emergency exit of the plane. Officials sent other search teams racing to the area.

No mystery, just another tragic loss of lives, a story bouyed by media, bad weather, confusion with air traffic control. This time in relatively shallow waters, so the evidence was found fairly quickly. Time to focus on the families involved.

So sad.
