| I helped put up the tree in the church this morning. A very large tree. Needed ladders to string the lights and hang the bulbs. It is beautiful. Perhaps I'll get a picture before it's taken down.
I think preparations for Christmas this year sends a message. We expect to be around to celebrate it on the 25th. Those who are preparing for dooms day on the 21st can't be looking forward to a Merry Christmas. |

| I remember those white trees in department stores when I was growing up. A color wheel was often placed at the tree base, a rotating thing that sprayed colors all over it. I think that was why the tree was white. You could buy those for home use, too. Who said the 70's were tacky?  |
