Webs has recently started using a new site builder. I decided to play with it. So far, I'm working more on appearance than content, which is basically the same - for now, but would appreciate any comments on the new look and theme.

Dear Ann,
I looked at all the pages and they look good to me. I think you have done a beautiful job of presenting your work and describing the yet to come. I loved the photographs of the rock and all your covers, especially the way they all connect one to the next. I think you need a deer in there somewhere.

What a talent you are! Not to mention a spirit on the move. I love that part.

Love,
Betty

I kind of liked my old look, but it was getting dated, and nothing similar was available with this new builder.

I still have a lot to learn, and a lot to do.

Thanks for the support.

My focus right now, while the stories for the new book are gelling, is to find a better pic for the DD cover. The one I'm using now, in case you hadn't noticed, is a very, very, very, very old one of moi.

Thank you for starting this subject. Silly me, looked and thought,'where is her website?" Finally I clicked on www and found it.

Then I decided to look at mine. www did not work for mine. I fixed it and can now go there.
Thanks again.

Dear Alice,
I have AVG virus protection. When I tried to look at your website, it blocked it saying it had active threats. I know you would like to know.
Love,
Betty

Dear Alice,
For some reason, a while back, my website was inflicted with a virus. I had to delete the whole damned thing. I do not know what happens. Perhaps some ass...... who knows how to attache trash to your address could do it. I cannot imagine the hate it must take for that to happen. There are unhappy, ingognito bullies everywhere. When we post on message boards and put out our web address, who know who can do what. I think that webs.com and other web providers should have a blocking mechanic of their own. We are just a (forgive the expression) one pea in many pods.

Love,
Betty

Yahoo has a pretty good spam protection; but I can't understand why the spam continues to receive such filth - seems eventually they would just block it permanently.

It's looking good, Ann. I take it that there will be a pull down menu for the Redstone Saga?

Yes, with a page for each book. For now, I've got the basics on the one page, but that will expand soon.

Joe, I started with Webs back when they were called freewebs. Many people don't like them, because you can use them for free, but if you get a domain name, and premium services, they can be as professional as any other. Dick Stodghill used them, and so do many other writers.

They have always been user friendly. They don't have all the options other sources might have, but the cost is more than reasonable. As far as this new builder, I'm still learning to use it. So far, so good. I will let you know.

Redstone Saga now has drop-down menu. The trilogy page will expand as more work is done on the last two books.
