| Soon, there will be an opportunity to submit to the next anthology, Forever Families. You can mull the theme over in your minds. Same number of words as last time: 3,000-5,000 (of course some stretched that to 11,000!). |

Cheers..Joe Hi Joe, Your story in Forever Travels is just under two thousand words (five pages in the book). Five thousand words would be twelve pages and eleven thousand closer to thirty pages. |

| The photos for Forever Travels were taken by my cousin's son. He has travelled to all the places in the photographs. I saw them on facebook and asked for permission to use them. I will probably do the same again; I'll ask for permission to use photos of families of friends. |

| Dear Shelagh, I would like to try to write a story, too.
Can the story be totally fiction?
Love, Betty |

| Dear Shelagh, I have been thinking about writing a real story, too. A story about my family as it really was when I was a child, rats and all. I think I could write a SHORT story. Perhaps begin with the beginning I began in works in progress about Martha.
If it would not be suitable for the Forever Families book, just say so.
Love, Betty |

| Betty,
The Forever series of books contain sad stories, happy stories, amusing stories, uplifting stories. While some are better written than others, the latest review on Amazon for Forever Friends seems to sum up the attraction of the books:
"This compilation, which I received as a free e-book, contains short stories, poems and a song about friends and friendship. These short, short stories cover a range of ideas, some humorous, some that tug at your heart, some of adventures in the writer's life.
All by published authors, a few are not as well written as most of the tales, but are still enjoyable. The book is a nice diversion when you need something to pass some time."
If your story is a nice diversion that takes the reader to a different place and time, then it will fit the theme of the Forever series of anthologies. |

| Thanks for the honesty, Shelagh,
My crappy childhood does not fit the theme of the series.
I will write a story of an animal family that I know. I was thinking of writing it as the next story in The Tales Of Wooffer's Woods. The sandhill cranes, Sandy and Sandra are hatching a new baby who should come walking up here from Lester's Field around the firs week of April. I was going to call the story, The Sweet Baby Cranes. I hope it will do. Love, Betty |

| I'll try this again. All I need to do is decide which family - the project sounds like a fun one to be involved in.
