A truly interesting article. Thanks for sharing. I love seeing skeptics admit they were wrong. I'd like to see it more often.

I have a friend who is a global warming skeptic. What shes doesn't seem to understand is, global cooling is a side effect of global warming. It does sound contradictory but then again, most things in science appear that way at first.

I give the guy credit for going public with it though he is now viewed as a traitor by fellow skeptics.

It is popular these days among some groups to deny science, period. I guess there's comfort in believing the world is flat. However, science has accomplished so much that improves the lives of ordinary people that I vote for a world that's round myself.

Skepticism is not necessarily a bad thing. It challenges one to validate and not accept things at face value.

A bit off subject, however just to say that I arrived yesterday afternoon a Washington/Dulles airport and am now in Virginia. Got lots of hugs and I'm feeling good although still a bit confused with jetlag.

Flight was delayed into Amsterdam due to fog and I nearly missed my connecting flight. Fortunately, with modern technology, they knew that there were connecting pasengers and held the flight.

I will try to check in and keep up-to-date with posts as time permits.

Saw deer this morning in the backyard. Leaves are falling and the colors are great.
Now to go to the stores and do some shopping. Got to help the economy, right?
