| Subject: Which paint to use in decorating- your opinion? Tue Aug 09, 2011 11:30 am | |
| 8/9/2011 I've been thinking of re-painting in the Fall, I have 17th Century Queen Anne Furniture with Chinese objects, etc. I found a chart with colors from that era, my living room rug is Chinese with burgundy border. I wanted to do one wall in color probably the wall behind the fireplace. The kitchen is white now, the bedroom white with a Chinese screen, burgundy drapes, bed comforter in burgundy with tan, pillows to match. What is your opinion ? Cheers..Joe |

| Hard to say without pictures. You also have to decide if you want the walls to be a background for the colorful rugs and furniture (in which case, beige is best), or if you want them to complement/contrast with them. If the latter, use a color wheel to guide you. |

| Joe,
You are the one who has to look at it. As you wish.
An off white is neutral too. |
