| If you want it--go for it! Is the bedroom tan now and you are adding burgandy? Sounds great to me. |

| I've used those colors together before, Joe. They worked well. You might look at a light sage green as your third color interest - a nice leafy shade to go with the florals.

Alice..
The bedroom walls and ceiling are off white, I always liked that because once I read you can use any color to decorate..

| My home colors are: white/tan/gray/with Burgundy and gold as accent colors. That is - until I put a burgundy, fitted slip cover on my couch and took the color scheme up a notch...previously, the burgundy was in pillows, a touch in the rug, a bit in the wall decor, etc.
Obviously, I vote for your choice! I have a beautiful Persian prayer rug with burgundy. |

| It's the color of my '87 Corvette convertible. Burgundy body and tan top and upholstery. A very nice combination. But it mostly sits. Getting too hard to get in and out these days. |

| My first car was a white '60 corvette with powder blue tuck and roll interior, two four barrel carbs and a removable hardtop (and it didn't go in the trunk like today - it was left home and led to some interesting weather experiences in snow, sand storms and rain....)
My last experience with a corvette was my son's powder blue corvette some years ago that he had bought cheap and rebuilt the fiberglass exterior. I felt like I was sitting on the floor... but it felt "cool."
I had a friend who always bought white Corvettes as an "investment." She said they held their value for trade in. Anyway, we would go to the same meetings and I would grin to myself as she crawled out in her spike heels and tight skirts - not exactly a graceful maneuver.
Another friend gave me a ride in a little sports car, I think it was a Mazda; getting in with high heels and a fitted skirt was tricky with that one too. I guess that's why they are "sports" cars. It's quite a feat to enter and exit in female clothes...
Anyway, I'd be glad to borrow your Corvette to give it some use; they are so full of pent up energy that they don't like sitting for very long. It might get upset with you....I used to talk to mine. It had personality. It was my weekend friend since I had an entry level job and it burned lots of gas even then. I rode a bike the ten miles to and from work and cruised in my car at the beaches on the weekend. I was eighteen. My oh my - the days of California beaches . . . |
