Dear Abe,
Sometimes I wonder if our conception of this earth, this universe that we are in is a subliminal memory of our existance before the big bang and that once in a while a small relic of that olden existance is discovered that cannot be explained within the perimerters of the knowledge we know (or consider to be) true.

Maybe our eternal spirit goes around and comes around and goes around and comes around in a never ending circle of existance. Life everlasting. Only that each go around is a new go around with new time and new space with new people and new animals and plants and thus we are reborn many times over.

It may be possible that before recorded time, this world had a civilization that was very advanced and was destroyed. A meteor or a comet that hit this earth and altered everything. Those old rocks of this earth would be so far below the surface that we now see. They may be five miles down under. Who knows.
So, Where is our James when we need an explaination ot these mysteries. cyclops

Love,
Betty

Commentators who use "retarded" as a humorous pejorative have no place in my world and deserve and receive no measure of my time and attention. None. Nada. Zero. As soon as I hit that usage, click-close.

I love the mystery of these things it opens up a world where an alternate history to what we have documented is possible.
The remains of a failed time travel experiment.
The use of a mountain by a as yet unknown civilisation.
The use of electricity by the ancients.
The discovery of a form of text as yet untranslatable.( So that's where my book went!)

I say mankind is in for some shocking surprises in the future.
Our belief systems will all be challenged.
