That's great, Joe! How do they find your personal site on the whole Zazzle site? And which products are selling the most?

It comes up on Face book, and other sites.
I have to look at the sheet on my site to
see which is selling best, they haven't put it
up yet..I use my photography and art..You can
even create stamps..

It would be exceptional if any product sold immediately without any kind of promotion. These sites are full of artwork and it is difficult to stand out. The drawings are not new (they've been on my walls for years!). I decided to add them to share rather than to make an enormous profit. You could do the same. You have a very good eye for design and colour. Your photographs might have great appeal and may even sell!

I used to draw political cartoons for a small town newspaper. I got in trouble when I drew one that the editor thought was disrespecful of then-President Nixon.

I got fired, and Nixon resigned.

I love caricatures, and became moderately proficient at capturing the essence of a personality in a few strokes of the pen. But you have to keep doing it. I've since lost the touch.

Caricatures of celebs would probably sell if fans are made aware of them. I'm continually amazed at the adulation people pour onto celebs, and the things they'll collect with their image.

So basically, you upload a file of the art, and FineArtAmerica (or Zazzle) offers options for the physical product? E.g., as a stretched canvas, print, necklace, whatever? What a good idea. It gives shoppers stuff to browse, and I see they can also upload their own art. It all looks like a giant CafePress, with just more options. But I can see how you'd have to do some serious marketing, since there's so much there. Lots of good stuff there, too. I bet a lot of those artists have places they regularly show at.

I was looking at a site, CheepOilPaintings.com where they have artists paint the old masters on canvas.

I really like Van Gogh's Bulb Fields and others.

I wonder how much like the original they are.
