My son's birthday is on Valentine's Day. So, we'll be celebrating.

I remember when I was a kid in grade school. We all exchanged Valentine cards. Of course to that some one (or ones) special, we gave those that said, "Will you be my Valentine?"

Dave and I still celebrate. We skip the chocolates and roses, but get each other gifts and plan to eat out and spend the night away from home.

We started early this year. I gave him a red fleece shirt--he gave me a gorgeous pink blouse.

We gave the grandkids sweatshirts in lieu of candy.

I was wrong. We spent the night at home.

My lead slipped again after only four months.
They do that before they break.
After getting that bad news, we stayed home.

Now we are waiting for the doctor. We were going today at 3:15 now Thursday at 8:30 because he had emergency surgery.

The good part of the day was that Joe sent me an adorable Mickey & Minnie
Mouse painting. I can't wait to frame and hang it.

Thank you-- it is a wire that goes to my brain. It freaks me out. If it breaks again another brain surgery. I hate that!

Repositoning surgery will occur this Tuesday. Only five days away.
Should be minor.

Minor sounds good. The five days is better than 50, I suppose, but still means having to wait. Come visit whenever you have time. We will try to help make it go faster.
