SHELAGH...HELP !

Shelagh...

How do you create a PDF file with photos ? I've asked on create Space
site , the answers I get are confusing, so say 8 X 10 PDF file , one says
the photos should be 300 DPI I don't know what that is, my photos are
3296 X 2472 because my camera is a 10 MP . So I'm in a dark tunnel
trying to figure out what I should do ?

Joe there are lots of free photo conversion programs out there that allow you to down size your pics to the size you need.
DPI I think is the old "dots per inch". Similar to pixals.
Some of the formats are JPG, JPEG, TIFF, GIFF, JFIF, JPE.
Of course you can convert your file format in microsoft paint which is part of windows.
A free program I use is Pixillion image converter it allows you to change the format and size of the image.

I don't think CreateSpace is the best for photo layouts. You can download templates but it is not straightforward and requires quite a bit of computer knowledge. The book you've created looks great. Try this self-publishing site:

Shelagh..

I checked out the site, Book Marks , I downloaded their
templates, and regular writing templates, it's awesome. Now
who do you recommend for me to publish my photography book,
I want to publish it in several places, does Lu Lu accept these
templates ? Any ideas? You deserve the genius award of the
year, your smarter than me !
