China?

What if China asks for payment of what we owe them?
Is anyone worried? Except for me. I am outraged that we are fighting wars and borrowing money to kill people.

No one seems to care.
It seems to me borrowed money should be used to build up not destroy.
If we must borrow money, invest in America, improve our roads, bridges etc.

I read an article about this recently. The gist was that when you borrow 100 dollars, you're a borrower. When you borrow 100 billion, you own the lender. China is afraid we're going to devalue our dollar, and effectively, screw them out of billions of wealth.

And if we do, then what?

Then no one takes the dollar or our good faith seriously anymore and gold goes even higher. Or something like that.

I think it would have catastrophic effects worldwide.

I say " SCREW !" China !
We have no business borrowing from them !
The USA never borrowed money in the past !
I blame the Govt., matter of fact in the Constituion
it sates if the American people are disastified they
can disban the govt. and start all over again, so
Washington watch out, the American people are
getting scared and that's dangerous, your jobs are
on the line , 2012 will be a year of many changes in
Washington.....Oh yes I would outlaw any company
or Corp. from manufacturing goods outside the USA
and out sourcing, the fine starting with 1 Million dollars
that would stop that !

I don't think the u.s can pay it back. I think that China is lending, so that the u.s can dig a deeper hole for themselves by getting into more debt. What is happening in Washington in 2012 Joe?

I think the American people are going to get so fed up,
they will clean house in Washington, I do believe we need a
third political party , it seems the democrats and the Republicans
can't get it right, their all in it for the money and power, I would
call the third party " 1776 " , we need to go back to our old
values, I believe what Gov. Perry of Texas said a few days ago
We need more than 100,000 troops on our borders before it's
too late and the drug caretl spills over , and we have the troops
Washington isn't listening or they don't give a dam or their in on
the take !
