Here's the Christmas Tree, I know I'm ahead
of everybody, but Christmas always brings me
out of the blues..

I guess I'm a scrooge. I don't like to see Christmas things so far ahead of the day. By the time it arrives, there's nothing special about it. Is that being old-fashioned? Anyway, that's the way I am and don't expect to change to suit the merchants.

Is that a pre-lit tree? I love your Santa and I have one and a Mrs very similar.

I hope a lot of people come to see your tree.

The tree is pre-lit , yes I have two anta's one is on
the mantel, the other near the tree on the floor, I'll add
a new photo later, I'll shoot it in daylight with lights on..

You are getting me in the mood, but my hubby doesn't like me to decorate until Thanksgiving dinner is over.

It means the lights are already on the tree--to me they are the hardest part of decorating the tree.

Already did the cards...The gift bags are props to
hide the tree extension cord, still have to wrap
and ship gifts , already ordered food goodies to
be sent back East.....I'm ahead of myself, now I
can relax.....

The real reason I put up the tree early is,
remember that friend who is staying with me, who
had a stroke and then he broke his hip, we'll three
weeks ago he was sent to the hospital from the re-
hab / home with a severe urinary infection, I put ,my
foot down and told the hospital he's not going back
there, too dam depressing , even for me ! That's why
I put up the tree for him to cheer him up and maybe it
will give him encouragement to start using the walker, he
has a therapist who comes in three times a week and a great
nurse who is patient and kind, his brother lives in NJ and I get
the image he doesn't have to deal with it, right now his brother
is on a 12 day cruise to the US Virgin Islands, he needs a rest,
I was POD when I heard that, but that's okay we all get older
one day, so that's my story why tree is up so early.......

Joe,

My tree is patiently waiting in the closet. Hubby is replacing moldings in house and doesn't need me to be messing with a tree just now.

When he is through with the living room, I will broach the subject of an early tree.

Joe,

He is almost through with the moldings and sounded interested in the tree. Here's hoping!

I got my Snowmen out. That is progress. Inch by inch.
Today I will sort out my decorations. All of them will not work on an all white tree.
