Do not tell me that!

Even if it is true,

No! It cannot be fact,

I will sue you,

And the truth will be unpacked.

Lies! You will get what's due.

All this for what!

Nothing that's what, nothing!

God! What a pile of rot.

Ever there and loving,

Rubbish, a complete false shot.

But I went to church?

At least twice a week.

Ran with the correct crowd.

Give me another year.

And I will for the sinners search,

I will send souls for you to keep.

N
ever will I be too proud.

I will overcome my fear,

Naming you, God of this earth.

GOD! Please grant me what I seek.

The First three stages of dying Empty
PostSubject: Re: The First three stages of dying   The First three stages of dying EmptyFri Jul 23, 2010 8:35 am

I have a life-threatening diagnosis. Two years ago I thought I had a few months to live but am still here.

I was angry at an original doctor who did not find the correct diagnosis.

I have dealt with a pulmonary embolism, chronic lymphodema, stage four metastasized bone cancer, walkers, wheel chairs, chemo, etc.

One night I was very ill. My family came to say good-bye. That night I felt spirits touching me, speaking to me. The next morning I woke up. It was not time, and that was a couple of months ago and I keep waking up.

Denial was not evident as I had cancer 24 years ago and I am very knowledgeable. Anger was directed at the doctor who could not help with the diagnosis. Bargaining has come, but all that means nothing. I am not in charge. A higher power is. Letting go is the next step and the most difficult. But do I have to let go? I do not know.

Love, Carol

Yoo do not have to let go. God is in charge.

MY thoughts and prayers are with you. Acceptance does not mean giving up. It is the stage that allows you to make the most of what time you have left. When you accept you throw away the other emotions that keep you from full enjoyment.
Have a great day and may every moment be precious,

Angelique

More people are beating the odds every day. People are surviving, and thriving, and living long lives after these diagnoses. You will be among them.

And that's not denial.
