Week One on Published Authors

It is exactly one week since the forum was set up on January 11th 2008. There are 44 members who have made 178 posts and 11 members have uploaded 12 book covers.

Doesn't time fly when you're having fun! I suppose I'd better go get some sleep, looks like being a busy weekend

I just looked, and the membership is at 84, but it doesn't give total number of posts. Guess I should have looked before I asked.

There are 431 posts so far! If members are interested in the kind of exposure the forum offers, after just sixteen days the forum earned enough posts to be placed at number five in the Literature and Poetry category of forums:

The forum earns points for the number of members and the number of posts. Currently, we have 1107 points. We are doing well with membership but, if you look at the Memberlist, you will see that half the members have not made a single post.

This is disappointing, especially when the opportunity is here for authors to gain greater exposure for themselves and their books.

This is the system:

Members who make 20 posts: 1 star
Members who make 40 posts: 2 stars
Members who make 60 posts: 3 stars

I have yet to decide how many posts before a member earns 4 stars!

Site Admins don't get stars they get knights in shining armour?
