Hi..

Here's a new law the Democrats are drawing up,
Nationa I.D. Cards for U.S. Citizens, what is your
opinion ? Mine: I think we need it.

Good idea. I mentioned that some weeks ago and got flak.

I feel it should have been sone 30 years ago,
but the idiotic ACLU is against it, too bad, it's
for people's protection, I always felt your
finger prints should be used , yours is yous,
there is no one else on earth who has your
finger prints. Another way of doing it is eye
recognition....Most of Europe has national
ID Cards for decades, why not the USA..

I would have been against it years ago, because I always saw having to have "papers" on you as a stamp of totalitarianism.

But since we have manage to get to the point where US citizens are required to show ID on demand, it may as well be valid ID.

ID is required for all financial transactions and people use a variety of ID cards. Having one standard, that is valid, will help with security.

One more document for the guys at the border to forge and sell.
