An Award Nomination for 'A Study in Red', Voting now open.

'A Study in Red - The Secret Journal of Jack the Ripper' has been nominated for the Authors Lounge Cover Art Design Awards for May 2008.

Voting has now opened, and runs to the end of the month. Could I ask any of my friends who feel kindly disposed towards the book to visit and if you feel the book cover has merit, to place a vote which would be greatly appreciated.

Cover artwork was by the brilliant Deron Douglas at Double Dragon Publishing.

Brian, I think the cover is fantastic, one of the best I've ever seen on any book by any publisher. I'll certainly vote for it.

Certainly it's ok. I pay close attention to covers, have even vetoed
some small publishers because of their horrible, amateurish covers.

I take your words as a superb compliment to the artistry and design skills of Deron who is also the CEO of Double Dragon Publishing. I'm sure he'll be delighted with your praise for his work, and I'm very proud to have his work adorning the cover of my book, which is itself selling remarkably well, thanks I'm sure in no small part to the attractive cover design he produced for it.

Yes, Deron Douglas is a man of many talents, and has published some superb books containing his artwork, as well as heading up Double Dragon.
