Since I write an occasional review for this site, I'm biased, I know. But it's a decent venue for Self-Published and small-press books.

See my my review of Don Westernhaver's novel from Xlibris, "Nero's Concert" at: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

While you're there, check out the book review guidelines and submission policies. Since reviewers actually choose the books they review from authors' queries, you won't get stuck paying for postage unless somebody really plans to write a review.

Most of us also post our reviews on Amazon, GoodReads and our own web sites.

Malcolm,
an informative review. The points you make about using language that relates to the time frame of the story is on target. I have read good books and then came across language that doesn't fit and it kills the story.

I was surprised by the language choices because they seemed so obviously modern.

Thanks for stopping by the review page and leaving a comment.
