Jackson hired this doctor so he would have an MD on staff to give him all of the drugs when and where he wanted them. If anyone should be charged, maybe Michael shoujld be charged with suicide. He knew what he was doing, so did the doc, I just don't see charging the doctor with anything other than bad judgement. But then again, a lot of wealthy people got their money through less than honorable means.

I think that you are right. People who abuse drugs have ways and means of getting what they want. The fault is within the taker of the drug. No one pushed it down their neck. Each of us has responsibilty for what we put into our own body.

I was thinking aboout this the other day. I know people who do nothing but wait for dinner, lunch or breakfast. The time between, they just sit there, watch tv, knit, go to the bathroom, have a nap.
I know a lovely lady of 350 pounds who has ordered grapefruit pills to help her lose weight. It will not work because she will not change what she eats, how many naps she has a day, or the gravy she puts on the potatoes at night.

This night, I wish I had a pill to take for my aching back. But, the heating pad will work, and tomorrow is a new day. At 105, I need all the potatoes and gravy I can get!

You're right Betty. Addiction is not limited to drugs.

Michael Jackson lived a tragic life and died a tragic death. His gift for song, dance, and performing ended up being a curse. The doctor is not soley to blame for his death.

Joe Jackson had a part in what happened to his son. He pushed him since he was a little boy and pushed him too hard. This influenced Michael in a negative way and made him childlike and not right his whole adult life. He left three beautiful children as his legacy and he obviously loved them and they can carry on the best of their daddy.

The problem here is the doctor should
know better, that drug belonged in a
surgery room not someone's bedroom,
I say he's responsible for giving it and
not watching the person, he should get
life in prison...........

I agree with you. In the old days of Hollywood
the Studios had their own doctors on their payroll,
they use to give famous stars uppers and downers so
they could perform , that's how Judy Garland got
addicted , these doctors should be prosecuted to the
full extent of the law. I wonder how the doctor and
lawyer are doing in the Anna Nicole Smith Trial , their
suppose to be up on big charges....They deserve the
max Life, In Prison !
