Work in Progress

My brain is slowing down. Luigie posted on the WIP board on September 6th. I must have missed it and didn't respond until Domenic replied on December 18th. I added a comment. Six days later, my brain finally clicked in. Luigie posted on the WIP board as a guest.

I logged out to check the forum permissions are working. The board disappeared. All seems fine.

Occasionally, there are problems with the forum software when posts and threads are lost permanently. I don't catch everything; if you see anything amiss, please let me know.

We do not have a poltergeist but we do have glitches!

Shelagh, shame on you. And here I thought only my brain was slowing down. Do you think the spring thaw will help?

That explains it. A few days ago I was sure I had posted something - I totally forget what, so it couldn't have been important. I couldn't figure out whether I was the one losing it, or had inadvertently said something horrendously offensive.

Here's a tip for lost posts when you have lost the thread, Ann (pun intended!). Click on your username to pull up your profile. Then click on Find all posts by alj : You will see a list of your posts to click on:

Original views? I've noticed that every time I look at a thread, it posts another view. 100 views could mean 5 people looking at it 20 times.

You are quite correct, LC. There are three comments on the thread. If thirty viewers checked back when a new post was made, that would account for ninety views.

Hmmmmm.....I somehow missed on the posts....sorry guys & dolls.
The reason I missed out was because I had posted a revised 'First Chapter'...:
http://www.publishedauthors.org/first-chapters-f12/king-of-princes-first-chapter-revised-t3747.htm and was monitoring the revised 'First Chapter' and not the original.....
