| I'm excited to announce that SUNDOWN TWO, the end of the world December 21, 2012 novel that Phil Whitley and I have been working on is complete. and has been sent to our publisher. It will be released next year, and we will be anxiously waiting the date. We posted the beginnings of this book here last spring, and it has now been finished. It will be released next year, and I certainly hope that a lot of you will read it. Thanks for the help with the WIP, and with the inspiration. |

| I just read my post and it sounds so insipid. What I mean to say is: It is a testament to being great when two authors can share the stage together and write such lovely books as you both do. I look forward to the reading. I have been reading E. Don as I have had the time. E. Don is a marvel and that is the truth. I need to get my hands on Phil's Granny Boo. Love, Betty |

| Wow! That came together fast!!! Good luck with it. I know the writing is excellent, and the rest of it is likely a page turner. |

| I have never co-written a book before, but have heard how difficult it is. I can testify to the fact that it can be a wonderful experience - at least in this case it was. Although to have a book completed is a great feeling, it is also bittersweet for I will miss the ritual of idea sharing, re-writes, and probably enough emails between us to make up another book!
I think we have a great story here, but whether it make it big or not I will never regret the telling.
Don, you are awesome and I am proud to call you friend. |

| My muse has written paragraphs that I have included in my books and has given me entire ideas for stories that I have then expanded. We spent one week, by phone, almost non-stop, writing and rewriting one section of a book. That was the closest to collaboration I have experiened, and it was electric as it came together like one mind, each side filling in the gaps. |

| Do you think you will collaborate again? It seems from here that you have enjoyed working together.

| Well, I think both of us are hoping that the first book creates a demand for a second one. If so, then I know I am surely up for the project. It's been great working with Phil. He has a lot of really good story ideas and did an exceptional job with his portrayal of Jenna throughout this first book. We left our main characters alive and kicking, and we also left another bunker, this one named Sundown One, out there and maybe active. Don't know where it will take us, but there is always a chance of more books from the two of us. |

| Co-authoring can work but it requires two people in tune with the subject matter and willing to adjust so that the story flows without a change in style. That is not a simple matter. |
