Anyone know exactly how many books they've sold? My royalty payments from PA stopped not long after the "Buy" button disappeared from my book at Amazon.com - any sales were through third parties from whom I receive no royalty or ranking.

In 2006/7, I made sufficient royalties to consider writing another book.

I haven't been pleased about much of anything since 1946 and even that wasn't an especially good year.

I got on the way and came in 1947.

What happened in 1946 to please you?

My first ink on paper book (I have an ebook out there) came out in May and is selling pretty good, for a small press.

The book sold 300 copies in the first 90 days, earning enough in royalties to make a car payment. Not bad.

Nah, it's published under my real name (not the one I use on boards such as this) and I don't feel like giving out my real name and publisher here.

However, it's a new mass market paperback, in the sci-fi section. My last name starts with 'R", so that should get you going.

However, since it's a small press it may not be in every Barnes and Noble. Many of the smaller ones don't carry it (like the one in my hometown. They didn't stock it until my publisher called them and told them the author lived 3 miles away!).

But it is in the one in Albany, NY, location. I looked at it Smile

If sales of "The Sun Singer" were good, I'd buy a new GM car just to tick off Dick.

(As for 1946, I think that's the year the basement flooded, filling the coal furnace up with water and making things rather nippy.)
