Hey Guys!

Just to let you all know from Tuesday to Thursday of this week I was in the hospital with pnomonia. I was really bad. It was wierd it came in the summer but thats what I get for not covering up at night when sleeping with a window all the way open.

I was so sick. I had to get injections in my stomach to help make sure I didn't clot. I could barely move cause of how achey I was...

But I am amazed at my recovery thats for sure. Three days isn't long with that stuff.

Anyways, everything is all well just now got to keep my venus fly traps from eating my collectible toothpicks

Glad you are better! Sickness can be so debilitating at its worst.

I had pneumonia bad once and that was enough. I get a vaccine now, every five years. I guess it's not perfect, but my mind feels safer.

My two best friends were recently diagnosed with frightening health issues, and it's taken me for a loop. I guess it's the boomer generation. It seems there's a lot of illness and dying going on of people who seem too young to face these issues, or people who it seemed would be here forever.

Many in this forum have faced and are facing tremendous health challenges in their lives or in the lives of loved ones. Though it's an electronic community, it doesn't change the fact that as colleagues, we hope for the best in every case.

MJ, so glad you're on the mend and the doctor's hooked you up with the meds you needed. Here's to feeling better!

Glad to hear you're better. Many people are becoming very concerned when they get flu symptoms due to the Swine Flu that is spreading. Best bet is to see a Doctor early and not wait as one would normally do.

That must be one for the record books!
I have a friend who was in bed for weeks with pneumonia it took them a month or so afterwards to fully recover.

I am still recovering just the hospital stay was really bad so I got the heck out of there. Still recovering but not fully functional.

Sorry to hear your stay in hospital was that bad.

I do not work when I am sick, writing or gardens or house stuff. I lay down. I cannot do all the other stuff. Sick is sick and you need to get well. I hope you are well by now.

Good to hear you are recovered/recovering. Take it easy for a while. I am like Betty in the get extra rest department. Good thing you got out of the hospital, there are sick people in there, you know?
