I have watched a couple of talk shows lately and am dismayed by their guests. What makes a TV or movie star an expert on politics? I don't think they are anymore 'up' on things than the average individual but I guess they appeal to their fans? Some seem to be committing carreer suicide.

Did any of them study political science classes? Do they sway people?

They sway people who watch talk shows (aside from you, Zada) and believe all celebrities know everything. Unfortunately, the majority of TV and movie stars don't even know how to act.
The only ones I pay attention to are professional wrestlers - and they do know how to act.
