I love that lake! We saw it up by Ashland and Bayfield a few weeks ago. There is something very spiritual about standing by Lake Superior. Last year was the first time in about ten years we didn't pay the lake a visit, and we wanted to get there early this year.

Great photos, Gordon. Similar to what we see on Erie, although Superior is much larger, of course. The ore boat could be at Cleveland or Ashtabula.

Ah, Michigan in the summer. As a youth, Michigan in the winter was okay too. Not anymore. I hate driving in snow and ice and the uncertainty.

I wrote a short story that will appear in Romance of My Dreams Anthology I by L & L Dreamspell, "The Ice Storm" that certainly was inspired by my fear of ice, snow, and slippery roads.

Michigan in the summer, though, and a bit of fall; well, it is beautiful to experience. You have captured some of it.

I have not been to that lake. It reminds me of the ocean in California or Mexico. The rocks are lovely and the force of the water is beautiful in it's fury. You are one of a kind, you know.

Lake Superior is much more like an ocean than a lake when you're up next to it.

It isn't easy, Harry. I was told to use Photo Bucket and it works for me.

I just upload the pictures from my hard drive using Servimg. The pictures are stored on my computer as JPEG images.
