Since the new format for posting has become effective I no longer can post pictures. What is now the procedure?

Hi Dick,

I tried to log in to servimg but it wouldn't accept my email address (I changed my email address on the forum about a month ago). When I tried to log in with my old email address and password, I was logged in immediately.

If you have changed your email address since you joiined servimg, try logging in with the old email address.

If you still can't get in, join photobucket.com or imageshack.com. They work just the same way as servimg:

Thanks, Shelagh. I put a picture on photobucket. Now what? This "Host an image" and "image" don't seem to do a thing.

Dick, try posting and highlighting your URL, then clicking on "Image," then check "Preview." It seems to work on everything except "Quick reply."

Dick, on Photobucket when you put your pointer over a picture, several boxes at the bottom will open. Take your pointer down to the IMG box. It should copy the code automatically, but if it doesn't just highlight the box and copy the code. Then paste the code into the body of your message on this board. It should post the picture for you. I usually post one, then hit the edit button and go back in and size the picture. Most of the time they will be very large if you don't do this.

Just takes a few tries to get to where you're ok with the process.

Try putting the photos in your gallery here, and then you can copy and share them on the messageboard.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a try.
Carol, that worked for me until the system as changed. Since then it doesn't.
