OK, so far, E. Don, this is my favorite of the lyrics you've posted. the repetition of the word "fast," in all the forms it defines a life, I like the metaphors,"Ridin the rainbow and ropin the wind," and the way they lead into the Humpty Dumpty image - that's my favorite stanza. I can hear you singing it. Well done.

I agree, Ann. It is my favorite and something many can relate to besides fast cars, horses and women or men.
