You captured my heart the first time we met
When I held you close I openly wept
Every time I hear your voice it brings a smile to my face
As I anxiously anticipate your warm embrace

My love for you is unconditional you can see it in my eyes
You have me bound with so many emotional ties
I rocked you for hours watching as you fell asleep
Your angelic face is a memory I will always keep

We have a wonderful bond that grew stronger through the years
So many little scrapes and bruises I wiped away a million tears
I counted you as a blessing I’m proud to be your father
Daddy’s girl and mother of my grandsons, I love you daughter
