I sent out a request for articles to add to the forum. I received a good response and the first article is now up. The link is on the navigation bar:

Thank you, Shelagh. Both articles are very informative, and in addition to giving great advice on writing queries, they also point out how every writer has his or her own unique style of writing, even when writing about the same subject.

They are very informative. I like the idea of having a single place to go for information. In the past, I thought a search capability would help in finding information, but this new site may eliminate that need. Perhaps when there are enough submissions, they could be categorized.
Not trying to give you more work Shelagh, just a thought.

Wow! this latest article is a great addition. This has stuff I can put to use right away, and follows some ideas I had for character development, but hadn't put into such cohesive form. Isn't "spunkonastick" one of our forum members? If so, I hope she's looking in about now. This article is very good.
