New Books

What about a section where members can post a cover shot of their new books when they're released? I don't even think it's necessary to reply, but just the basic information, cover, author, genre, number of pages perhaps, the publisher, and a link to Amazon.

My novel, Beyond the Quiet, has just become available, and Abe's as well, and I think Jenny's is due about any day. I'd love to see the info, especially the covers, unless it would take too much space for the forum.

sounds like a good idea.
At first I thought it may duplicate or conflict with the book Gallery, however the gallery just shows the book cover.
I'm sure Shelagh will come up with a solution.

Uploaded files of book covers in the book cover folder or personal folders on the Gallery can be copied and pasted into posts (the code shows below the images in the Gallery) e.g.

My books are released now.

I just have the covers duct taped below.

Don't figure too many folks want to read Young Adult Fantasy ... although they are also meant for the young at heart. Wink

Oh I read YA fantasy though I suspect I might not be alone. John Scalzi's "Zoe's Tale" and Cory Doctorow's "Little Brother" were huge cross over hits.

My series is more of a modern day fantasy adventure with a bit of romance ... sort of a fairy tale set in today's world (and today's fairy world).

It definitely is not what is called high fantasy.
