A Complete Surprise

I have been waiting for what seems like forever for a completely random review to be posted on amazon for one of my books. I went on amazon today and there was a review of the audio version of Rooftop Diva posted under my paperback book. I have professional reviews listed where I had submitted the books, but reviews where someone unknown took a chance and invested in your vision, seem special.

That's great, DT! I know what you mean. I was pleasantly surprised one
night when I found a review by a young boy from Mexico (!!) who had
read Keechie. His father later emailed me and said that his son
had done a book report on it and the teacher wanted to get copies for
her entire class.

But that simple, single review from that kid was worth all the others put together for me.

That is marvelous. I am under the impression that our books have to be around a while before they catch fire and go wild.

I think five years is what I read somewhere.
