Would like a review of the following manuscript:

Synopsis – They Plotted Revenge against America (65,000 words)

By
Abe F. March

The story begins with the invasion of Iraq. Two youths, a Moslem and a Christian are the sole survivors of American bombing that killed all members of their families. They seek revenge. They leave Iraq and join a group of Palestinians who also want to avenge the deaths of their families from American supported Israeli actions.

David Levy, an Israeli Secret Service Agent, with a grudge of his own, organizes the training of men and women whose desire for vengeance is strong enough to carry out a mission of revenge in America.

The initial training of the would-be terrorists is conducted in Beirut, Lebanon. The second phase of their training takes place in the mountains on the border of Germany and France. It is here where pairing of the men and women are made who then become team partners. After their training as teams, they are sent to selected areas on America’s east coast where each team develops a suitable plan to carry out the mission.

The mission deals with the infestation of poultry, water foul and fish with deadly viruses designed for mutation to humans. An antidote is developed for the deadly viruses for use as leverage for demands that will be made before the antidote will be made available.

As the teams are engaged in the planning of their target areas they become involved in the local communities where they live. They meet and associate with Americans as they try to blend into the society. They have philosophical discussions among themselves and with their newfound friends about religion and the causes that prompted their need for revenge. The unresolved problem between the Israel and the Palestinians plays a large role in these discussions. Some team members begin to have second thoughts about carrying out the mission.

David, the leader of the mission, is an American born Jew who carries both American and Israeli passports. The false passports that he acquired for the team members trigger an investigation. The Mossad places him under surveillance, but before he is apprehended, he slips away and operates from a secret location where he continues to direct operations. He falls in love with his assistant, a Palestinian Muslim who he had saved from torture by the organization he served.

When the order is about to be given to commence with the infestation, there are just two teams remaining. The first two teams had already left America to return to Europe. The third team backs out as soon as the order is given to commence with the mission. When that happens, David decides to cancel the operation. Unknown to him, the fourth team who had already received the virus infestation packets, resists the order to dispose of them. Their delay in departure places them in jeopardy of leaving the country before their visas expire. Before they could seek an extension, Homeland Security had been alerted about a possible terrorist attack and makes a TV announcement. The remaining team can no longer request an extension or leave the country without detection and therefore decides to carry out their original plan of infestation.

David had escaped detection of his organization and left America by devious means. He was in an obscure village in the Alps when he learned of the Virus outbreak. He knows who did it and must now make a tough decision that will place his own life at risk. He decides to offer the antidote to save lives but that offer comes with an ultimatum directed at Israel and the United States. If they honor this ultimatum he will provide the antidote to save the lives of millions.
