Why can't I recall this? It should be simple--our grandson is headed there this fall to major in History and then PreMed. I should remember it easily. Maybe if I write it down, it will help. University of Notre Dame 588578

Notre Dame is French for "Our Lady". Think to yourself, the University has a French name; it is also the Catholic name for the Virgin Mary. If you can't remember when you're trying to tell someone, say it's "Our Lady" in French.

Talked with my granddaughter, Natalie, yesterday via Skype. She is getting prepared for entering the university at Virginia Tech. It is gratifying to witness and share in the excitement of grand children as they pursue their dreams.
