I agree. It should be minimal cost. I can see some fees like parking, student union, etc. But no child who qualifies should be denied the opportunity for a university education which is the stepping stone to a bright future for both the student and the economy.

When one reads about student debt extending for years, a solution must be found. Could finding a solution be part of "Higher Learning"?
There are examples where "Trial and Error" is not required. Universal Healthcare is one example. Things that work in another country can be examined. Thinking that one must create a new system is not only costly, but lacks common sense.
Too bad "Common Sense" is not a subject of higher learning.
