Be Prepared

Being prepared is not being negative.  Trump’s actions are putting America on a war footing and it is prudent to be prepared.  Stocking up on food (canned goods) and a source of drinking water is necessary.  The power-hungry arrogant fool is now making enemies of our allies.  When we need them, they may not be ready to help.  The power-crazed person who holds the title of President is placing our country in jeopardy.  This is not an Alternative Fact, but a reality that must be taken seriously.  It appears that he is determined to start a war – a war that he can’t win.  Stopping this tyrant should be a priority for all peace-loving people around the world.  Hindsight will not save us.

We need to get him out of office. He is insane.

How does such a nut stay in power?  He lies nonstop and folks just adore him.  He calls people terrible names.

He is impossible.

Trying to understand him has caused much frustration with many who observe his actions.  His “Tweets” are full of spelling errors along with rambling nonsense. I suspect that his supporter base finds some comfort knowing that their lack of proper English grammar is shared by a person in a high position. His show of force is recognized as a “show”, however it is no longer amusing.  His erratic behavior has changed amusement to one of angst. He doesn’t listen to his advisors proclaiming that he is smarter.  Comedians are having a field day pointing out his flaws.  Unwittingly, they are giving him the attention he craves.  I believe that the term “fake news” was coined by Trump as a diversion. If he doesn’t like what he sees or hears, he labels it “fake”.  The turnover in his cabinet is an indicator yet to be defined.  He desires loyalty to the point of worship.  If he doesn’t get it, he uses revenge.  Some of that revenge is seen with firing those who oppose his wishes.  There is much more one could say to further clarify the danger he poses to the citizens of America and the world.  Retribution is on the horizon with recent act with tariffs.  His record of lying has come to mean that if Trump says it, you can’t believe it.  How sad to witness the fall of a once great nation caused by an irrational leader.    
Reading comments on FB one can feel the frustration with “what can we do?”  The leaders in Congress will feel the effects at the next election.  Their failure to serve the people as dictated by the Constitution will bring them down. Trump believes that the Congress is there to serve him.  Trying to run a government is not the same as running a business.  His proclaimed business acumen is false.  His record of bankruptcies is evidence of his unethical behavior, sticking suppliers with unpaid bills while keeping the profits.  His moral behavior is another subject.  The trail of casualties   continues to surface.

 remember who said it,  but I believe it.

War being planned?
I predict that Trump will initiate a war before he leaves office.  He believes that war will save his Presidency.  Historically, Presidents have not been changed during a time of war.  In addition, the War Power’s Act gives the President special powers as Commander-in-Chief. 
Consider the people that he is appointing, the latest being John Bolten.  Bolten has been pushing for war with Iran.  I suspect that Israel will initiate the hostilities and America will be obliged to go to the aid of Israel.  That doesn’t rule out the possible conflict with N. Korea.  Either one will give him the war he wants at the peril to the entire world.  Why the entire world?  Because nuclear weapons will be used in either scenario.  The only thing that can save us is Trump’s removal from office as soon as possible. Many are hoping that Mueller will release his report and that there will be enough evidence for Trump’s removal.  Whatever he reports, it is expected to be blocked by the Republican Congress.  Being prepared is more real than one can imagine.  Our survival is at Stake.  We must continue to resist any and every action that smells of war.
