| Subject: The Home Depot and the Lowe's discount. Mon Sep 15, 2014 3:59 pm | |
| A couple of weeks ago, I went to Home Depot to buy broccoli and cauliflower plants. When I was checking out, the sales clerk leaned in close to me and said, "If you say, 'can I get the Lowe's discount,' it will take a little off your bill. So, I did say that. It reduced my bill by 5.46 cents. Last week, I went in, new clerk, and said, "Can I get the Lowe's discount?" Out came the sheet from under the register, a barcode was scanned and , Wahoo, some money was discounted from my bill. Today, I went to buy seeds. My bill was a little over four dollars, and I said, "Can I get the Lowe's discount, and lo and behold, out came the same sheet from under the register and I saved .26 cents. I loved that. Try it.

| Ann, I hope you try it where you live. Here, I consider that every 100 you spend you get at least 5 dollars off. |
