I think he should pay the  government 24 billion dollars.  That is what his stupidity  has cost us.

Mc Cain had said when he was a POW, they Broke his arms at the shoulders. The other guys with him said that was a lie. He broke his arms when he bailed out of his airplane.

Names starting with Mc, Mc stands for "Son of."

In my book, a veteran who served honorably is an honorable veteran.  POW's suffered.  I hold John McCain accountable for his actions today as a representative of the people.  He has historical experience to offer though I disagree with his hawkish perspective.  I am grateful to the U.S. citizens who made certain he and Palin were not in charge of this nation. Whew!

Ted Cruz should be hospitalized and treated for mental illness.  Anyone can see he is out of focus.

Today Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) announced that he is willing to compromise on one point in an apparent gesture to mend fences with the other side of the aisle. He has offered to add an amendment to the Affordable Care Act (aka ObamaCare) to allow Medicare to cover the costs of abortions.

I'm a little slow, Joe. You've been saying that the problem is rich leftists. This thread is about Ted Cruz, who, like McCain, is a right-wing republican.

Let's use logic here.  If you had a job where you were always on vacation, had a staff paid for by the taxpayers so didn't need to tax your brain very much, received fortunes for talking at events and publishing lousy books, had the best travel arrangements across the globe, dined in the best places and were the center of attention at benefits and fund raisers, had two lovely homes for your perfect family, a couple expensive cars, vacations in the most exotic places, legislated raises in salary, the Cadillac of insurance and pension benefits and all you had to do to keep them was please a few lobbyists and bamboozle a few voters, would you resign?  Certainly not.  Where else would you get such a cushy job?  Any employment after resigning would require work, fewer vacations and less benefits.  Even if you wanted to resign, your wife and children who certainly appreciate their lifestyle would not let you.

Right on target, DK.  Selfishness doesn't allow for selflessness.  They think only of what's good for themselves.  They were voted in office to serve, not to be served, however people do change with their environment.
